No cancel confirmation when new record clicked on while old record has been updated

When a record is updated and then the sidebar is closed without saving, it shows a cancel confirmation popup. However, if you don't close the sidebar but just click on a new record in a table (for 90% of screens) then it closes the current sidebar...

adding trade to section - double save

when one adds a new trade to an existing section, it has a save button (which makes sense) to save the newly added item. However as soon as one close the screen then it says that the record has not been saved (double save) which is an inconvenienc...
